Covered Cucumbers

Here are our covered cucumbers that we interplanted with dill. We have since taken off the covers and they are really going to town. The flowering dill and the creeping vines are really looking together. Plus, the covering worked- our plants are free from the bugs that woulld have laid their eggs in the early stages of growth!
Emma’s Sunflower Gauge

We will be marking the process of sunflower growth by our resident expert, Emma Young, daughter of Chef Alex Young. She is also excellent at helping on the farm. Sunflowers flag most of our planted rows, our flowered mascots.

As of right now, all of our raised beds are full of beautiful plants. All the tomatoes and peppers are in the ground. Everything has taken off- we already have support systems established on our early tomato plants, and all of the row covers have been taken off.
