Hot fried chicken made headlines this weekend on NPR’s Weekend Edition, where reporter Audie Cornish took a trip to Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, run by Andre Prince Jefferies to taste Nashville’s signature fried chicken where it all began.

And, on May 26, Jane and Michael Stern, in their weekly appearance on The Splendid Table with Lynne Rosetto Kaspar, raved about Jefferies’ hot fried chicken.
