Hi Ari--I'm the younger sister Jody (joAnna), and I just wanted to say how proud I am that you thought enough about Pop to actually name a dish after him--I am almost sure he would have danced a jig for you if he knew--He took great joy in those Friday nite :fish frys"--I always said the only reason I ever had a date on Friday nites was because the boys just wanted to be invited to eat before we left-If you haven't tried yellow mustard on a piece of fish, please do--I like that better than the goush!! Thanks again and I love your menu--Oh, and Peggy knows it's "Fried" Dried Apple Pies and Chocolate Biscuits, yum

Thanks Ari. It looks like I"ll have to come to the Roadhouse now if i want to get my hands on some good fried catfish. He would be so happy to know that his
his legend lives on and in 'cafe' style. I might have to let the locals know as well. Things haven't been the same around here since he passed. All the catfish are
hiding in the mud.

It means a lot to me that you took this so seriously. He was a treasure. Now we'll have to get you the recipe for my aunt sarah's dried apple pies.

lots of love,
Peggy
