Mark Twain and fellow diners at Delmonico’s Restaurant in New York, 1905.

In honor of the original New York restaurant that set the table for American fine dining, the Roadhouse has put together a very special New Year’s menu for 2019. Starting as a French pastry café in 1827, Delmonico’s evolved into the first, finest full-fledged restaurant New York had ever seen. Its rich menu and elegant halls catered to elite customers, including American greats Mark Twain and Charles Dickens. Outliving trends, critics, wars, and Prohibition, it was recognized as one of the best restaurants in New York for over six decades. Join us in celebrating a new decade with Chef Bob’s menu, featuring decadent favorites from a historical icon.
