Join us for an Oaxacan harvest feast!

Tuesday, September 1st 6:30pm | $95

Zingerman’s Roadhouse is excited to announce the return of our highly anticipated special Heirloom Tomato Dinner on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:30pm! Make sure to join us for our most popular event of the year, as we connect you with a bounty of tomatoes from our favorite local farms.

Our heirloom tomato bar will be the star of the show once again! Fill up your plate as many times as you can with your choice of tomato accompaniments, including Zingerman’s Fresh Mozzarella, fresh basil, artisanal olive oil, aged balsamic vinegar, Tellicherry black pepper, fleur de sel sea salt, and IASA peperoncino in Olio di Oliva.

Chef Bob’s menu is on fire this year, as he explores traditional Oaxacan recipes using local, juicy heirloom tomatoes. In Oaxaca, tomatoes are more than just an ingredient; they are ancestral culinary anchors. Cultivated in Mesoamerica as far back as 500 B.C., local heirloom tomatoes and tomatillos are essential building blocks for Oaxacan moles, salsas, and street foods. For our dinner in September, Bob will create unforgettable dishes featuring these culturally significant flavors. We are counting down the days until we can taste Sopes with mole negro and cherry tomatoes; fresh fish with salsa pasilla; succulent pork with a roasted tomato and green chile sauce; summer squash calabacitas in a rich tomato sauce; and so much more!

Guest will also enjoy talks from our friends We The People Opportunity Center, including new director LaWanda Hollister! Join us as we welcome them to the table!

Do not miss everyone’s favorite annual tomato dinner, it will sell out quickly!
