In The Italian Summer Kitchen, Cathy masterfully unites dishes from the country’s many and varied regions to create an authentically Italian yet approachable collection for the home cook. In the book, readers will find step-by-step instructions, tips and techniques from professional chefs and everyday home cooks, and a seasoning of Cathy’s always-engaging wit and reflections on history and on food, life, travel, and more. Cathy will bring these reflections to us in person at the Roadhouse for one night only, as she guides us through an Italian culinary experience that we can all create at home—just in time for summer.
