RoHo Bar Room Bonanza: A Blast of Beautiful, Bonafide Pictures & More

By Zach Milner

Welcome back to the Roadhouse Gazette, everyone! Honored to be with you again as I deliver the inside scoop of everything Roadhouse renovation. There are some fantastic changes happening to our bar room, as you can see above! From booths to baffles, shelving and ceilings, everywhere you look in the bar room has transformed! Lisa Schultz, our Managing Partner, cannot contain her excitement about this room, so I figured I would share a quick snippet of her joy with you all here:

“I’m so, so excited for everyone to come back and work in our lovely new space. The floors, booths, new paint colors and side stations are absolutely gorgeous.”

All photo credit goes to our Zingerman’s IT Technician with a love for snapping pictures, Yvo Moldonado. Thanks Yvo!

Photo Updates of the RoHo Bar Room

If you look here, you’ll see a brand new floor! Our beloved wooden floor was sadly falling apart, and we found this really nice ceramic tile to take it’s place!

In front of our kitchen window, you will see we have new copper baffles to help with noise reduction! These will not only improve the sound quality of the bar room, but I think they look quite dandy!

Looks great so far, right?? Well, here’s a couple more pictures to get excited about.

What are the updates in the Bar Room?

If you’re familiar with this room like I am, you’ll recall a number of changes. The lights are new, as is the ceiling they’re hanging from! The middle of the room where the float counter used to be? There will be three high top tables there in no time. Don’t see the banquette along the wall? We sent that sucker on vacation, and brought some beautiful luxury booths that will seat up to six people at a time each! The dark violet hue is one of my favorite parts that ties the whole room together…

…Did I mention the 10-person party booth in the corner?! Now larger groups can have a special booth all to themselves.

I can’t believe this is on track to be open to you all in less than two weeks! Our partnership with Phoenix Contractors, Inc. has really been special, and they’re a massive reason we’ve been able to get where we’re at today, and beyond. Thanks to everyone involved for working hard to make this all happen, and I can’t wait to check in with you all soon with an update when this is all wrapped up! Maybe I’ll have Yvo put a bow on top of the Roadhouse for one picture 🙂

Until next time, swing by the SideShow for a burrito and coffee, and join us at Zingerman’s Greyline on Valentine’ Day for a special meal for your special person, prepared from scratch by our Head Chef, Bob Bennett. Thanks for reading!
